Dr. Marjorie Dixon, MD, FRCSC, FACOG, REI


Dr. Marjorie E. Dixon is a graduate of McGill University’s School of Medicine. Following her initial postgraduate training at the University of Toronto in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Dixon completed her postgraduate training at the University of Vermont with a three-year subspecialty at the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology accredited fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.

She joined the department of obstetrics and gynecology at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre more than a decade ago, and she continues to be an involved member today. In 2005, she was appointed assistant professor at the University of Toronto, where she actively participates in the education of medical students and residents.

As an advisory board member of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Dixon played an instrumental role in the approval of the 2015 IVF Ontario Funding Program. She is an invited speaker at both national and international conferences in her field of reproductive endocrinology and infertility and she continuously advocates for women’s health.

Since 2010, on the last Thursday of every month, Dr. Dixon has been a regular feature on the CityLine television program, educating Canada on women’s health.

Dr. Jodie Peacock, ND


Dr. Jodie Peacock B.Sc., N.D.is a Naturopathic doctor at The Root of Health in Oakville. Dr. Gwen Goodrow, MSc, MD, FRCSC (OBGYN), FACOG, REI, Partner


Dr. Goodrow is a Partner at the Reproductive Care Centre. She began her career in infertility in 1989 when she completed a Master’s degree in embryology and worked as an in vitro fertilization technician. After graduating from the University of Toronto medical school, she completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at McMaster University in 2001. Dr. Cengiz Cinnioglu, PhD


Dr. Cengiz Cinnioglu is a Co-Founder and Laboratory Director of Igenomix. He earned his PhD from Istanbul University, Turkey, in Genetics. Dr. Cinnioglu joined a pioneer research group led by Dr. Luca-Cavalli Sforza, who is a world-renowned geneticist, in tracking the genetic history of mankind at Stanford University in the Human Population Genetics Laboratory, his post doctoral research involves the molecular analysis of human DNA sequence variation in human populations and SNP’s discoveries on Y chromosomes.

Dr. Joseph Doyle, MD

Joseph Doyle, M.D., received his medical degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Brigham and Women's Hospital/Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, in Boston. Dr. Doyle then completed a 3-year fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Massachusetts General Hospital.


During his training, Dr. Doyle received several teaching and clinical excellence awards. Sara R. Dr. Mandy Katz-Jaffe, PhD


Dr. Mandy Katz-Jaffe is a reproductive geneticist who completed her Masters and PhD at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. After receiving her doctorate in 2004 she moved to the US to join the clinical and research teams at the Colorado Center for Reproductive Medicine (CCRM). She currently is Scientific and Genetics Director at CCRM with extensive clinical and research expertise in both Reproductive Genetics and Preimplantation Genetic Testing.


In 2007, Dr. Katz-Jaffe and the CCRM team pioneered the blastocyst comprehensive chromosome screening (CCS) protocol, which allows for the assessment of all 23 pairs of chromosomes in human blastocysts (day 5/6 embryos) resulting in significant improvements to IVF success and live birth rates. Blastocyst CCS is now a highly successful clinical protocol utilized around the world to assist individuals and couples in realizing their dream of family. Dr. Katz-Jaffe also published the first studies utilizing mass spectrometry based platforms to investigate the human embryonic secretome. Frank Nelson, Men Having Babies Board Member

Frank Nelson is a High School Teacher, working with at-risk youth in Toronto, Ontario. Frank received his Bachelor Degree in Architecture from Ryerson University and his Bachelor of Education from the Ontario Institute of Studies in Education at the University of Toronto.
