Ariel Taylor (she/her) is a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist with a special interest in fertility and surrogacy. She is the founder and CEO of Carried with Love Inc., a company dedicated to counselling, support, education and advocacy for those looking to grow their family. Along with a team of dedicated and caring therapists, Ariel specializes in treating the complex emotional needs that come from infertility, miscarriage & loss, pregnancy, postpartum and surrogacy/donor conception.

Ariel graduated from Western University in 2012 with a BA in Childhood and Social Institutions and again in 2021 with her Bachelors of Social Work. She focused her years of study on the interdisciplinary and global perspective of childhood, grief and traumatic loss, complex fertility trauma and surrogacy and donor outcomes worldwide. Her passion for specialized fertility therapy came after experiencing her own miscarriage as a surrogate in 2016 and finding little support for her unique situation. She knew there was something missing in the mental health space for people like her and Carried with Love was born.

As a 5x surrogate and 6x egg donor, Ariel is passionate about advancing Canadian surrogacy and making third party reproduction ethical, responsible and attainable. She has created Canada’s first Independent Surrogacy Program for intended parents wanting to do surrogacy properly and believes that surrogacy should be collaborative, intentional and done with care.

In addition to her professional career, Ariel has been able to use her social platform @carried.with.love to reach millions of people and share on a large scale about her own journey while smashing the stigma around surrogacy and normalizing the many routes to parenthood.

Family isn’t in the DNA, it’s in the love!
